Manager Selection
PiRho undertakes manager evaluation for traditional ‘long only’ mandates, and for hedge funds and other ‘unconstrained’ mandates, where Manager and Product selection is particuarly critical to successful investing . PiRho works with clients to establish what type of managers or products are appropriate to meet each client’s investment (and other) objectives. We conduct a thorough selection process taking all relevant factors into account. We aim to advise clients looking for managers for mainstream asset classes, for collective investment products such as Funds of Hedge Funds as well as those who want to manage a portfolio of single strategy hedge funds – and those who are still working out which is the right approach for their organisation.
PiRho does not maintain a standard buy list, but approaches each assignment from first principles, as we believe that ‘one size does not fit all’. While some funds and managers are unsuitable for any institutional mandate, different client criteria and objectives can lead to widely different managers being selected.
