Monitoring & Evaluation
We believe that all investment decisions should be subject to monitoring and review, in order to ensure that they are meeting the desired objectives and, if not, why that is. While it is normally a good idea to take a long term perspective in respect of investment decisions involving changes in strategy or manager, funds need to maintain an informed watching brief, if only to ensure that their positions remain appropriate. And in some circumstances they need to be ready to take action if markets or managers diverge widely from expectations.
PiRho produces regular monitoring packages, tailored to client requirements, and is also available to attend regular and ad hoc client meetings as required. We also undertake more project based evaluations of client portfolios where, for example, there has been a takeover bringing unfamiliar assets into a portfolio, or where a client feels that an existing adviser has insufficient specialist knowledge, and would like a second opinion.
